Overview

The NSI Industries TL-38740 Threadless Insulated Grounding Bushing is a malleable iron, UL-listed grounding solution designed for rigid and IMC conduits. This 2-1/2" size bushing features an integral 6-250 AWG grounding lug with slotted or internal hex drive screws, eliminating the need for separate lugs and reducing inventory by up to two-thirds. The 150°C-rated nylon insulator covers the bushing and lug corners, providing abrasion resistance and smooth wire pulling. A cone-point stainless steel mounting screw with nylon locking patch ensures vibration-resistant installation on both threaded and threadless conduits. The design includes cast "threads" opposite the mounting screw for secure fitting and a rounded shoulder to meet NEC 373-6C requirements for conductor protection. Certified to UL 514B, UL 467, CSA C22.2 No. 18, and CSA C22.2 No. 41, this bushing supports copper and aluminum ground wires from #14 AWG to 4/0 AWG. Ideal for tight spaces, multiple conduit runs, and applications requiring reliable ground continuity.
