Overview

The NSI Industries RTK-300-21 is a robust MC Cable Connector designed for secure and reliable termination of armored cable and flexible metal conduit to enclosures. Manufactured by NSI Industries, this aluminum connector features a 3" NPT hub size and is engineered to accommodate a jacket outer diameter range of 3.000" to 3.150", with an armor range of 2.860" to 3.060". This connector is built with a unique saddle design that firmly secures the conduit without damaging the cable armor, providing mechanical holding power that increases with strain. It ensures a high-quality bond between the conduit and the enclosure, unaffected by vibrations. The insulated throat protects conductors during and after installation, reduces wire pull effort, and prevents thread damage. Locknuts are designed to provide an effective bond to the box or enclosure and will not vibrate loose. Constructed for durability, the RTK-300-21 is suitable as a grounding means per N.E.C. Article 350-5 (up to 3" trade size) and for hazardous location use per Class 1 Division 2 N.E.C. 501-4(b). Its design incorporates fewer screws to reduce installation time and cost. The connector can be used on smooth or corrugated aluminum sheathed and steel MC cable. This TITE-BITE® connector is U.L. Listed as a grounding means for steel MC cable and ALS for dry locations, with U.L. File No. E 36017 and CSA File No. 589.
