The NSI Industries P49 is an accessory designed to expand the scheduling capabilities of Tork 7000 Series Time Switches. This product provides an additional pair of ON/OFF trippers, allowing for more granular control over automated operations. Each Tork 7000 Series dial can accommodate up to 12 pairs of trippers, with one pair typically included with the timer. The P49 adds to this capacity, enabling users to program more frequent or complex ON/OFF cycles. These trippers are essential for applications requiring precise daily scheduling, such as controlling lighting, pumps, signage, air conditioning units, and water heaters. The scheduling features supported by the Tork 7000 Series, and enhanced by the P49, include a minimum ON setting of 20 minutes and a minimum OFF setting of 75 minutes. This ensures that operations are not triggered for excessively short durations, maintaining system integrity and efficiency. The Tork 7000 Series also offers a Skip-A-Day function, facilitated by a 7-spoke wheel marked with days of the week, and the P49 trippers integrate with this feature. Three omitting screws are included for easy configuration of skipped days. A manual override function is also available, allowing for temporary interruption of the automatic schedule until the next programmed cycle. For models that require backup power during outages, NSI offers "L" models that can maintain dial timing for up to 16 hours. The P49 trippers are compatible with timers operating on 120V or 208-277V AC at 60Hz. Terminal connections accommodate wire sizes ranging from #8 to #14 AWG. The operating temperature range for these timers is -40°F to 165°F (-40°C to 74°C), making them suitable for a variety of industrial environments. The enclosure for the timer, which these trippers are installed within, typically includes a lockable hasp for added security. Optional adaptor plates (Model #IAP) are available for installation in Intermatic cases. The power consumption for the timer is 3 watts (5 watts for "L" models).
