Overview

The NSI Industries NT316100 is a 3/16" x 4" Strap Toggle Anchor, supplied in a convenient 100-count package. This anchor combines durable plastic straps with a zinc-plated metal channel, designed for reliable fastening in hollow wall applications. The anchor requires a 1/2" drill hole and offers a minimum clearance behind the wall of 1-7/8" (48mm). It is compatible with machine screws or bolts with a 3/16"-24 thread (Model BA). The installation process involves inserting the channel through the drilled hole, pulling the straps to seat the channel behind the wall, and then snapping off the excess straps. Finally, a machine screw or bolt is inserted through the item to be mounted and tightened into the channel. The bolt length should equal the item thickness plus the wall thickness plus 1/2" (13mm). This toggle anchor is suitable for various mounting tasks where secure attachment to drywall or hollow wall surfaces is required, providing a strong and stable hold. The zinc-plated steel channel ensures corrosion resistance, while the plastic straps offer flexibility during installation. This product is a practical choice for contractors and DIYers needing dependable hollow wall anchoring solutions.
