Its electro-tin plating minimizes contact resistance, ensuring efficient current transfer and reduced heat generation during operation. Designed for versatility, the 600TP accommodates both copper and aluminum conductors within its 600 MCM to 2 AWG wire range, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications from power distribution to motor control centers. The integrated turn-prevent feature on the lug's base eliminates rotation during installation and under operational stress, guaranteeing a stable connection that resists loosening from vibration or thermal cycling. Rated for 600V with a maximum of 2000V per UL486B, this lug operates reliably at temperatures up to 90°C. Its dimensions measure 3.18 inches in length, 1.38 inches in width, and 1.51 inches in height, with a tang length of 0.88 inches (A) and 1.93 inches (B). The mounting hole to turn prevent distance is 0.53 inches, and the hole diameter is 0.63 inches. Installation requires a maximum torque of 550 in./lbs., using a 3/8 inch hex wrench. Each standard carton contains 6 units. The 600TP's threaded mounting hole simplifies installation in panel boards, junction boxes, and equipment enclosures.
