Overview

The NSI Industries Mighty-Merge® Transition Fitting, SKU 4057-DC, is a zinc die-cast coupling designed to join 3/4" EMT conduit to 3/8" flexible metal conduit (FMC) or 14/2 through 10/3 armored cable (AC/MC). This patented fitting eliminates the need for junction boxes, reducing labor and material costs by up to two-thirds compared to traditional methods. The set-screw design ensures a secure connection while the armor gripping saddle remains open during cable insertion for simplified installation. The fitting accommodates cable sizes from 14/2 (0.43") to 10/3 (0.61") and is compatible with steel and aluminum AC/MC/MCIA cables. Constructed from durable zinc die-cast with a ball-burnished finish, it meets Federal Specification A-A-50553 and is certified to UL Standard 514B and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 18.3. Ideal for commercial and institutional facilities, this fitting streamlines electrical installations by directly connecting EMT to flexible conduit or armored cable without additional components.
