Overview

The NSi Industries 3-1/2 Inch Malleable Iron Insulated Grounding Bushing (SKU: 389) provides reliable grounding for industrial electrical systems. Constructed from durable malleable iron, this bushing ensures longevity and robust performance. It features an integral grounding lug designed for 14-1/0 AWG copper or aluminum grounding wires, offering superior ground continuity. The 150°C rated nylon insulator covers the top and lug corners, enhancing safety by preventing unintended electrical contact. This bushing is compatible with both threaded and threadless rigid and IMC conduit, simplifying installation and reducing inventory needs. The cone-point mounting screw with a nylon locking patch ensures a secure, vibration-resistant fit. Conforms to UL 514B & UL 467, and CSA C22.2 No. 18 & CSA C22.2 No. 41. UL File #E3060, CSA File #LR2884. Its design allows for easier installation compared to conventional bushings, especially in tight spaces, as the grounding lug is integral and does not need to be removed and reattached. The rounded insulator surface reduces drag and prevents abrasion during wire pulling. The "cast threads" opposite the mounting screw tighten the fit during installation, and the angled lug screw improves accessibility for securing the ground wire. This bushing is designed to reduce inventory by accommodating an extended wire range.
  • Durable malleable iron construction for long-lasting performance.
  • Integral grounding lug accepts 14-1/0 AWG copper or aluminum wires.
  • 150°C rated nylon insulator for enhanced electrical safety.
  • Suitable for threaded and threadless rigid and IMC conduit.
  • Cone-point mounting screw with nylon locking patch for vibration resistance.
