Overview

The NSI Industries 284-DC is a UL-listed and CSA-certified 1-1/4" EMT to FMC transition coupling. Manufactured in the US, this malleable iron coupling provides a secure, code-compliant connection between electrical metallic tubing (EMT) and flexible metal conduit (FMC). It features a TITE-BITE® connector design that secures FMC with a single screw, eliminating the need for multiple fasteners. The coupling ensures reliable ground continuity, resists vibration loosening, and provides a rain-tight, concrete-tight connection. Suitable for hazardous locations where general-purpose equipment is permitted, it meets NEC and CSA standards for grounding and bonding.
  • UL-listed (File No. E 1383) and CSA-certified (File No. 2884)
  • TITE-BITE® connector secures FMC with a single screw
  • Malleable iron construction for durability and corrosion resistance
  • Rain-tight and concrete-tight connection for harsh environments
  • Meets NEC and CSA standards for grounding and bonding
