Overview

The Mersen TD15 is a 15A time-delay plug fuse designed for 125VAC industrial and residential applications. This fuse features a built-in visual indicator that clearly signals when the fuse has operated, eliminating the need for external monitoring. With a time-delay rating of 12 seconds at 200% of its nominal current, the TD15 is well-suited for circuits experiencing temporary overloads, such as solenoid circuits, control circuits, and motor-starting conditions. It provides supplemental protection where both time-delay characteristics and blown fuse indication are critical. The TD15 is UL Listed to standard 248-14 (File E33925) and CSA Certified to Standard C22.2 No. 248.14, ensuring adherence to North American safety standards. Its compact 1-1/2" x 13/32" (10mm x 38mm) double-body design ensures compatibility with standard Edison base fuse holders. While it can be used with UltraSafe™ fuse holders for ratings up to 10A, the TD15 itself is designed for 12-15A applications. It boasts a 10kA interrupting rating (I.R.) at 125VAC, providing reliable performance in demanding electrical environments. The pin indicator can also be utilized to trip a switch for remote signaling. This fuse is not intended for branch circuit protection.
