The SPD is designed for easy installation or retrofit, mounting directly onto a 35mm DIN-rail. It boasts a high short circuit current rating (SCCR) of 200kA and a surge current rating (Imax) of 75kA, with a nominal discharge current (In) of 10-20kA (8x20 μs). The response time is less than 1 nanosecond. Applications include industrial control panels, water treatment facilities, smart grid and LV metering, and traffic/ITS systems. The device offers a remote status indicator with Form C dry contacts for integration with critical control circuitry.
