Overview

The Littelfuse LECBC Series (SKU: LECBC) offers robust 600V in-line fuse holders designed for demanding outdoor and industrial applications. Engineered for high-humidity and corrosive environments, these fuse holders are ideal for street lighting, parking lot lighting, security lighting, traffic signals, outdoor illuminated signs, sports lighting, boat electrical circuits, tractors, yard equipment, and general outdoor circuit protection. Constructed from durable fiberglass-reinforced polymer, the LECBC series provides superior break-resistance against impact and dropping, outperforming phenolic alternatives. The watertight design features an internal O-ring seal and ultrasonically-welded terminals to prevent leaks, ensuring the fuse compartment remains protected. These holders boast an IP66/IP67 ingress protection rating, safeguarding against dust and water ingress. Available in single-pole (1P) and double-pole (2P) configurations, the LECBC accommodates both stranded and solid copper conductors using crimp or screw terminals, offering installation flexibility. The holders are designed for Class CC fuses (e.g., ATDR, ATMR, ATQR) and midget fuses (1-1/2" x 13/32"), with a maximum current rating of 30A and a voltage rating of 600VAC/DC. They meet UL Listed Class CC Guide IZLT, UL Recognized Component Midget Guide IZLT2, and CSA Certified Class CC and Midget Class 6225 standards. The SCCR is 200kA for Class CC fuses and 100kA for midget fuses. The temperature rating is 155°C. Optional breakaway versions are available, which safely disconnect the load in case of pole knockdown, keeping the fuse encapsulated. Non-breakaway units can be enhanced with optional cone-shaped insulator boots for a watertight seal. The LECBC series simplifies maintenance by allowing individual fixture disconnection for servicing, preventing shock hazards, isolating faults to prevent circuit-wide outages, and reducing damage from electrical faults. This ensures dependable protection and long-term reliability in harsh conditions.
