Sizes K, L, N, D, and X of the Hammond 1593 series enclosures come with both flat and contoured panels.

Sizes S, T, Q, P, and Y of the 1593 series enclosures feature an integrated battery compartment with a door.

Due to their low profile, the 1593S and 1593T models will only accept AAA batteries. The largest holder that fits is a two AAA battery holder kit.

The 1593 enclosures are ideally suited for mounting printed circuit boards and are ergonomically designed for handheld use.

Versions of the 1593 series enclosures without a battery door are designed to meet IP54 ratings.
