The lid is secured with M4 stainless steel machine screws that thread into integral stainless steel bushings, facilitating repetitive assembly and disassembly without compromising integrity. All hardware is stainless steel to prevent corrosion from dissimilar metals. The lid screws are self-captivating, with pre-threaded holes for initial installation. Internal features are optimized for mounting flexibility, with molded-in DIN rail mounting tabs (on most models) and threaded M3 integral brass inserts or standoffs for PC board mounting. Vertical PC card guides for 1.5mm thick boards are also molded into most sizes. The 1555K2GY is an ideal solution for protecting sensitive electronics in harsh environments.
