How to Install the ST200-551SS Star Teck Cable Fitting
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for safely installing the ST200-551SS Star Teck cable fitting. WARNING: Risk of shock, disconnect power before installation. CAUTION: Product should be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with national and local electrical codes.

- Select the Appropriate Cable Fitting
Select the ST200-551SS cable fitting that is appropriate for your enclosure and the specific armored cable being used. Refer to the product table in the documentation for compatibility and specifications.
- Prepare the Cable for Installation
Determine the required working length of the conductor inside the enclosure or device. Carefully remove a portion of the cable's outer jacket to expose the armor. Using a hacksaw, cut the armor to the required length, then trim the outer jacket to adjust the exposed armor strip length as indicated in the product table. CAUTION: Do not nick or cut the conductor insulation during this process.
- Insert Cable into the Gland Nut
Feed the prepared cable through the gland nut opening of the ST200-551SS fitting. Push the cable until its armor firmly hits the internal end stop of the fitting, as shown in Figure 3 of the instruction sheet.
- Secure the Gland Nut
Tighten the gland nut until an appropriate seal is obtained, or to the maximum torque specified in the product table for the ST200-551SS fitting. Ensure the bushing seals evenly around the cable's outer jacket and the cable remains centered to achieve an optimal and secure seal, as illustrated in Figure 4.
