The ABB RE31SA-G Urethane Coated Reducing Bushing, part of the Ocal-Blue® corrosion-resistant conduit system, is engineered for precise pipe size reduction in industrial applications. This bushing facilitates a transition from a 1-inch (27 metric) pipe size to a 1/2-inch (16 metric) pipe size. Constructed from durable aluminum, it provides robust structural integrity. The key feature is its high-performance urethane coating, applied in a neutral dark gray finish (G). This specialized coating offers superior resistance to abrasion, chemicals, and general wear, significantly extending the service life of the bushing and the connected piping system. The Ocal-Blue® urethane coating is applied with a nominal 0.002" (2 mil) thickness on the interior and exterior surfaces. This bushing is designed for secure, leak-proof connections, essential for maintaining system efficiency and preventing costly downtime in fluid or gas transfer applications.
