This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and wiring the MD2M-2 Controller safely and effectively.

Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Cable ties
- Disconnect Power
Ensure that all power sources are disconnected before starting the installation to prevent electrical shock.
- Mount the Controller
Secure the MD2M-2 Controller to the DIN rail using the integrated clips. Make sure it is level and firmly attached.
- Strip and Connect Wires
Strip the ends of the wires to the appropriate length and attach them to the male and female motor disconnects as per the wire size specifications.
- Crimp Connectors
Use a compatible crimping tool to crimp the connectors securely onto the stripped wires.
- Insert Pins
Push the male pin into the female barrel until fully inserted, ensuring a secure connection.
- Slide on Boot/Insulator
Slide the boot or insulator onto the pigtail connectors until it stops, ensuring proper insulation.
- Secure with Cable Ties
Fasten the first cable tie at the middle of the boot/insulator and the second tie 1/4” from the end. Cut any excess tie flush with the head.
- Dress Lead Assemblies
Carefully dress the lead assemblies into the junction box, ensuring no wires are pinched or damaged.
- Verify Connections
Use a multimeter to verify all connections are secure and there are no shorts before restoring power.
