- Disconnect Power
Ensure that all power to the system is disconnected to prevent electrical shock during installation.
- Mount the Controller
Secure the MD40F-3 Controller to the DIN rail using the integrated clips. Ensure the controller is level and firmly attached.
- Strip and Connect Wires
Strip the ends of the wires and attach them to the appropriate male and female motor disconnects as per the wire size specifications.
- Crimp Connectors
Use a compatible crimping tool to securely crimp the connectors onto the wires, ensuring a solid connection.
- Insert Pins
Push the male pin into the female barrel until fully inserted, creating a secure connection.
- Install Boot/Insulator
Slide the boot or insulator onto the pigtail connectors until it stops to protect the connection.
- Secure with Cable Ties
Fasten the first Ty-Rap cable tie at the middle of the boot, then fasten a second tie 1/4 inch from the end of the boot. Cut excess tie flush with the head.
- Dress Lead Assemblies
Carefully dress the lead assemblies into the junction box to ensure neatness and safety.
- Verify Connections

- Restore Power
