Supplies needed:
FLOOD-SEAL FS-95 Connector Kit (including rocket sleeve), Cable, Lug, Silicone grease, Bus
- Clean the Cable
Thoroughly clean the cable surface before proceeding with the installation of the rocket sleeve to ensure proper adhesion and sealing.
- Mark Cable Insulation
Pencil or mark the cable insulation as required for proper preparation and alignment.
- Select Correct Cut Ring
Identify the appropriate cut ring on the rocket sleeve by matching the conductor size of the cable being installed with the raised numbers indicating the cable range.
- Trim Rocket Sleeve
Carefully cut off the tip of the rocket sleeve up to the selected cut ring. Ensure the cut leaves the required conductor range visible on the sleeve.
