The K655L4 L-Kit is used to split one line into three (in, out, tap, tap). Its insulating plugs also allow for capacitive voltage testing.

For both the 15kV and 28kV voltage classes, the continuous current rating is 600 Amp.

Each K655L4 kit contains 4 Basic Elbow K655BLR, 11 tubes of lubricant 82-08, 2 Basic Insulating Plug K650BIP, 4 Stud 650SA, 3 Connecting Plug K651CP, and three installation instructions.

Optional accessories allow for visible external separation, by-pass, isolation, dead-ending, grounding, and testing of the K655L4.

The K655L4 can be easily connected or disconnected using standard hand tools and equipment in a de-energized state.

The K655L4 features 100% peroxide-cured construction, including insulation and conductive EPDM materials.

The K655L4 kit features a fully shielded, fully submersible molded rubber housing.

For the 28kV voltage class, the Basic Impulse Level (BIL) impulse withstand is 140kV.

For the 28kV class, the maximum phase-to-ground operating voltage is 16.2kV, and the maximum phase-to-phase is 28kV.

For the 15kV voltage class, the Basic Impulse Level (BIL) impulse withstand is 95kV.
