The ABB GUAX14-TB is a 1/2 inch hazardous location conduit outlet box engineered for classified areas where explosive atmospheres may be present. This outlet box combines a ductile iron housing with a zinc-plated finish for superior corrosion resistance and a die-cast aluminum cover for long-term durability. The internal volume of 5.2 cubic inches provides adequate space for wire connections, terminal blocks, and splices in conduit systems. Designed for use in Class I, Division 1 & 2, Groups C & D; Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F & G; and Class III hazardous locations, the GUAX14-TB meets stringent requirements for explosive and dust-ignitionproof environments. The precision-machined NPT threaded hubs ensure trouble-free field installation with rigid or IMC conduit, while the internal ground boss and screw provide a secure grounding point. This outlet box serves as a junction for branch conduits, allowing for easy access to wiring, wire pulling, and system maintenance.
