Supplies needed:
Threaded rod (not included), Nut (not included), Mounting screws
- Prepare the I-Beam
Ensure that the top and bottom surfaces of the I-Beam flanges are free of dirt, grease, and dust before proceeding with the installation.
- Mount the Beam Clamp
Position the Beam Clamp on the flange of the I-Beam, ensuring it is fully seated and aligned according to the specified flange thickness.
- Attach the Threaded Rod
Insert a threaded rod through the bottom hole of the Beam Clamp and turn it until it contacts the back portion of the Pawl, securing the clamp to the I-Beam.
- Tighten the Nut
Securely tighten the Nut to the bottom of the Beam Clamp using a torque wrench, following the recommended torque specifications per ASTM standards.
