The ABB BG202 Insulated Grounding Bushing, SKU BG202, is a critical component for ensuring safe and compliant electrical grounding in rigid and intermediate metal conduit (IMC) systems. The innovative design includes a cone-point mounting screw with a nylon locking patch to ensure a secure grip and prevent loosening due to vibration, even in threaded or threadless rigid and IMC conduits. The insulator surface is rounded to reduce drag and prevent abrasion during wire pulling, and is rated for 150°C/302°F applications with a 94V-0 flammability rating. Compared to conventional bushings, the ABB BG202 offers simplified installation, eliminating the need to remove and reattach grounding lugs in tight spaces. This makes it an ideal choice for installations in confined areas, corners, and for multiple conduit runs. The extended ground wire range capability reduces inventory needs by consolidating multiple part requirements.
