How to Install the AFM-2-BRS Access Floor Module
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the AFM-2-BRS Access Floor Module, including mounting, wiring, and initial setup.

Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Caulking gun
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Caulk or sealant, Conduit and fittings
- Cut the hole for the floor box
Cut a hole in the raised panel measuring 7-1/8” x 4-1/8” to accommodate the AFM-2-BRS.
- Install the AFH Bracket
Attach the AFH Bracket (provided with the box) to the raised floor panel, ensuring it aligns with the set screws. Bend the legs of the bracket around the edge to secure it tightly.
- Apply sealant
Before lowering the AFM-2-BRS into the hole, apply a bead of caulk or sealant to the underside of the Carpet Flange to prevent water entry.
- Lower the AFM-2-BRS
Carefully lower the AFM-2-BRS into the cut hole and attach conduit and fittings as required to comply with National and Local Electrical Code.
- Secure the module
Install the 1-1/8” long set screws (included with the box) to engage the bracket and secure the AFM-2-BRS in place.
- Connect wiring
Open the lid of the AFM-2-BRS, attach the necessary devices, and install all wiring in accordance with National and Local Electrical Codes.
