Overview

The ABB 675AL Erickson coupling is a 1/2" aluminum conduit fitting designed for rigid and intermediate metal conduit (IMC) applications where neither conduit length can be rotated. Constructed from copper-free aluminum, this coupling provides a rigid in-line connection that maintains conduit run integrity under vibration and mechanical stress. The free-fitting threads enable easy assembly without conduit rotation, simplifying installation in tight spaces or complex conduit runs. With aluminum construction, it offers corrosion resistance superior to steel in harsh environments while remaining lightweight for reduced labor time. The coupling is rated for concrete-tight applications and can carry ground fault currents up to 10,000 amps RMS (for 1/2" through 1 1/2" sizes). Compatible with all straight pipe threads (NPS), the 675AL meets UL 514B, CSA C22.2 No. 18, NEMA FB1, and NFPA 70 standards.
