The ABB 668-S Ultra-Shallow Recessed Service Floor Box offers a high-capacity power and data solution specifically designed for shallow concrete floors. Constructed from durable galvanized stamped steel, this 4-gang box features a low-profile 2-1/2" height, making it ideal for renovations and installations where slab depth is limited. Its generous internal dimensions provide 192 cubic inches of total capacity, with individual compartments offering 41 cu. in. (2 places) and 55 cu. in. (2 places) for device access. Removable voltage dividers allow for flexible wiring configurations, enabling a single conduit to feed two or more adjacent compartments. The box includes multiple knockout (KO) options for versatile conduit entry, including 3/4" KOs on the sides and bottom, as well as 1" and 2" to 1-1/2" KOs on the bottom for enhanced installation flexibility. Optional metallic covers with durable powder-coat finishes (available in black, gray, brown, and beige) and trim rings for flush mounting in tile or wood floors are available separately. MopTite® covers meet UL scrubwater exclusion requirements. This floor box provides the largest cubic-inch capacity among shallow, recessed 4-gang floor boxes, delivering a robust and aesthetic solution for power and data distribution in commercial and industrial environments.
