How to Install the 6322 Non-Metallic Liquid-Tight Connector
This guide provides two methods for installing the 6322 1/2" 90° Elbow non-metallic liquid-tight connector. Ensure compliance with all electrical codes and disconnect power before beginning installation.

- Ensure Safety and Prepare Components
WARNING: Disconnect all power before beginning installation to prevent risk of electrical shock. Ensure the product is installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with all applicable national and local electrical codes. Prepare the conduit by ensuring it has a square-cut end for an effective connection.
- Connect Conduit to Fitting Body by Turning
Slip the gland nut onto the conduit with its wide end facing the connector body. Place the "Left Handed Conduit Gripping Thread" of the connector into the conduit and tighten counter-clockwise until the conduit touches the straight threaded shoulder of the connector. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN. Then, thread the gland nut onto the fitting body and tighten clockwise with a wrench until the base of the gland nut is snug on the hex of the body. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.
- Connect Conduit to Pre-Mounted Fitting Body by Flexing (Optional Method)
If the connector body is already pre-mounted to a box, slip the gland nut onto the conduit with its wide end facing the connector body. Place the conduit over the "Left Handed Conduit Gripping Thread" and push it on using a flexible up and down and side to side motion. Continue flexing until the conduit touches the straight threaded shoulder of the connector. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN. Finally, thread the gland nut onto the fitting body and tighten clockwise with a wrench until the base of the gland nut is snug on the hex of the body. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.
