Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Pliers
Supplies needed:
Aluma---Form Bracket, Polyethylene Cable Wrap, Snap Hose Clamps, Lubricant, Mounting screws, Grounding connector
- Install Mounting Brackets (if applicable)
If using a pole bracket, crossarm bracket, or riser pole bracket, install it first according to its separate instructions.
- Attach the Basic Bracket
Attach the 1535AFB-3 basic bracket to the installed mounting bracket or other mounting surface. Ensure the arrow on the 1535AFB-3 is pointing upwards.
- Prepare for Cable Placement
Remove the protective sheet from the adhesive surface on the 1535AFB-3 bracket.
- Position the Cable
Place the cable, including any concentric neutral wires, against the adhesive surface. Ensure enough length is available for terminator installation.
- Secure the Cable with Tie Wrap
Wind the tie wrap 1.5 to 2 turns around the top tie horn and then around the cable. Ensure concentric neutral wires are under the tie wrap.
- Fasten Hose Clamps and Trim Wrap
Fasten a snap hose clamp onto the middle of each tie horn. Cut off any excess tie wrap.
- Install Terminator
Install the terminator according to the instructions provided with it.
- Ground Connections
Ensure the cable's concentric neutral, the terminator's electrostatic drain wire(s), and the mounting bracket are all grounded. Use the provided mounting hole on the bracket to attach suitable grounding connectors (not supplied).
