COMBINER
Solar combiners (solar panel combiner boxes) are engineered to combine power from several solar panels onto a common bus. They are specially designed for the types of wiring used in photovoltaic (PV) systems. The output would then be connected to a charge controller or inverter depending on the type of system. Solar combiners also allow for a transition to larger wires between the array and the batteries or inverter to minimize transmission voltage drop all while protecting the array. Streamline now offers a variety of premium plug and play solar combiner box solutions. Built in Streamlines UL 508-A panel shop just outside of Milwaukee Wisconsin these systems can be trusted to perform. All combiner boxes are hand-assembled using best-in-class name brand components and are built to stand up under even the harshest conditions. In addition they are highly serviceable. The polycarbonate enclosure features a full-length piano-hinged door with a non-metallic latch. They offer a variety of mounting options thanks to brass inserts on the rear wall of the enclosure and the lid. Made in the U.S.A the enclosures are UL/cUL NEMA Type 6P IP68 as well as UV and chemical resistant.

This plug fits connectors sized for 4 AWG wires, covering the set screws used to tighten their connections. Supplies needed:
M4 screws, Distance plates DA 1B, Mounting spacers DA 2B, Loctite
- Mount the sensor
Fasten each Eden sensor (Adam) to the mounting surface using two M4 screws. Use the DA 2B mounting spacers to protect the sensor from damage. Ensure the screws are tightened to a maximum torque of 1.0 Nm.
- Connect the wiring
Connect the M12 connector to the Adam sensor according to the wiring diagram. Ensure that the cable is secured and does not apply force on the sensor. Use shielded cables for enhanced electromagnetic immunity.
- Teach the code
Power on the Adam sensor and bring the Eva unit within detection range. The LED on the Adam will turn green, indicating successful programming of the Eva's code. Ensure that Eva remains in range during this process.
- Test the safety functions
Verify the safety functions by moving the Eva away from the Adam sensor. The LED should turn red, indicating the safety circuit is open. Move Eva back to check if the LED turns green, confirming the safety circuit is closed.
