EARTH-LEAKAGE MONITOR - 32 TO 70 VDC. The SE-703 is a microprocessor-based ground-fault relay for resistance- and solidly-earthed systems. It offers sensitive ground-fault detection as low as 25 mA and can be used on systems with significant harmonic content. The SE-703 provides feeder-level protection or individual-load protection. The output contacts can be connected for use in protective tripping circuits or in alarm indication circuits. The analog output can be used with a PLC or a meter. The SE-703 is specifically designed to be Australian AS/NZS 2081 compliant.

Voltage Relay. 33 415/480V. The T3300 is intended for three phase effective voltage surveillance on generators, busbar or other distribution systems. The relay contains the functions “under voltage” and “over voltage” time delayed, and 2 individual output relays, one relay for each function. The T3300 includes a total of four internal transformers. Three of these transformers are used for measurement and one dedicated to supplying the internal electronics. The internal transformers provide optimal isolation and the best possible accuracy. The use of a dedicated transformer for supply prevents load disturbance to any of the three measurements.

VAr Load Sharer. 400/450V 5A. The T4900 is designed to control a generator operating in parallel with the grid, or a generator operating in parallel with other generators (which are also controlled by T4900 units). The T4900 will continuously measure and compare the reactive current on the generator to an external DC reference signal connected to the “parallel line” input. The T4900 will increase or decrease the voltage of the generator (through the AVR) if it finds the reactive current level to be either too low or too high. Two built-in relays provide the increase and decrease pulses for the automatic voltage regulator (AVR). The strength (width) of the pulses is proportional to the voltage deviation. The E7800 Motorised Potentiometer can be used to adapt the contact pulses to a signal suitable for most AVR’s.

SE-701-0T is a ground-fault monitor with a supply voltage dc of 48 and is uniquely suited for systems with significant harmonic content.

Paralleling Relay400/450V 1.5. The T5000 Paralleling Relay is a check synchroniser. The T5000 has two separately insulated voltage inputs, one for each system. A built-in relay will close when voltage, frequency and phase are within safe limits. The relay output can be connected in series with a manual contact to operate the circuit breaker between the two systems. A voltage adjustment is provided on the front facia. The voltage adjustment can be set to accept closure when voltage difference between the two systems is within the range of 10 to 15percent. LED based indication of relay activity is also provided.

Frequency Deviation Relay. 230V. The T3500 Frequency Deviation Relay will, based on a simple AC voltage measurement, monitor the change in frequency over a time period of one second. The T3500 Pick up LED will ignite as soon as the voltage frequency has changed more than 0.5 Hz to 1.5 Hz per second, while the internal relay (and the relay indication LED) activates after the frequency deviation has existed for more than 100 milliseconds. The 100 millisecond delay can be omitted by bridging two external connection terminals. An alternative delay of 50 milliseconds can be obtained by inserting a resistor between the two terminals. The Pick Up and Relay LED will ignite simultaneously if the delay is omitted.

Auto Synchronizer. 10 400/450V. The T4000 Auto-Synchroniser provides automatic synchronisation and connection of a generator to a live bus bar. The T4000 measures the voltage across two phases on either side of the circuit breaker in order to obtain data on frequency, phase and voltage deviation. The T4000 will automatically adjust the speed of the generator (through the speed controller) in order to match the frequency and phase to the live busbar. The speed output signal is a variable DC voltage, which can be easily matched to the speed trim input of an electronic speed controller. The magnitude of the output voltage is proportional to the frequency/phase deviation. When used together with the T4300 Load Sharer or T4400 Load Sharer, the speed output must be passed through the T4300 or T4400.

SE-704-0D is an earth-leakage monitor with a supply voltage dc of 12–24.

Overcurr & Shrt Cir 230V5A Ext out relay. The T2500 is a high quality Over-Current and Short-Circuit relay intended for protection against thermal damage and faults caused by excessive currents. The T2500 can be used to protect generators, power transmission lines and various types of consumer supplies. The T2500 monitors two levels of current and trips the circuit breaker when one of these two levels has been exceeded continuously for a time period (defined by an adjustable delay). The T2500 will support the connection of up to three phases, but will react on the largest of these three measurements. The current measurements are done through external current transformers (CTs) – typically with a secondary current of 5A. The Over-Current function can be adjusted to trip within the range of 0.5 to 1.4 x I (input current). The delay of the Over-Current function can be set between 3 to 30 seconds. The Short-Circuit function operates within the range of 1.0 to 4.0 x I. The Short-Circuit delay can be set between 0.1 and 1 second. The T2500 will react on the highest of the three input currents. The Pick-up LED will ignite as soon as the level is exceeded, while the relay is activated only after the delay has passed.

OvercurrentOrEarth Fault Relay240/240V1A. The T2800 has a broad application as an earth fault – or single phase over current detection relay, it has a wide setting range for protection, control or monitoring. The relay detects the magnitude of the current and, on exceeding the preset value, an output relay will be activated after a preset time delay. Available in many versions, varying in supply voltage, measuring currents, and functions.
