NEUTRAL-EARTHING-RESISTOR MON. PROFIBUS. The SE-330AU is an advanced earth-fault and earthing-resistor monitoring relay for low- and medium-voltage transformers and generators. It monitors neutral current, neutral-to-earth voltage, and neutral-to-earth resistance. It provides continuous monitoring of the neutral-to-earth path to verify that the neutral-earthing resistor (NER)is intact. This is of utmost importance—an open NER renders current-sensing earth-fault protection inoperative and could result in a false belief that the system is functioning properly. The SE-330AU earth-fault function complies with AS/NZS 2081.3:2002. For non-AS/NZS 2081 applications, see the SE-330 or SE-330HV. The SE-330AU New Revision provides these additional features: 100 trip records with date and time stamp. A mini-USB interface to view measured values, configure settings and check event records using SE-MON330 v3.2 or later. An on-board microSD card (included) can be used for long term data logging and firmware upgrades. Earth-fault trip level is adjustable from 0.125 to 5A (EFCT) or 0.75 to 30A (CS30). When set to MEM, the earth-fault trip level is adjustable from 2 to 100percent in 1percent increments of the CT-primary rating. SE-MON330 V3.2 or later is required. Dual Ethernet ports are optionally available with support for fiber and RJ45 interfaces. IEC 61850 protocol is optionally available. COMPUTER TO RELAY CONNECTION: Connect the SE-330AU to the network using a standard Ethernet patch cable. Use of a crossover cable to connect the SE-330AU directly to the computer running IP-Config is not recommended. A typical router will assign an IP address to all connected computers that are using DHCP. The SE-330AU does not support the use of DHCP. If the SE-330AU is being set-up for first time, it is recommended to only have one SE-330AU connected to the network to prevent communication errors.

SE-330AU-21-00 is an advanced neutral-earthing resistor monitor with a supply voltage ac of 28–52 and a supply voltage dc of 36–72. Network communications is offered via USB; DeviceNet.

Provides a 5-W ground-check termination between the ground-check wire and ground.

EARTH-LEAKAGE MONITOR - 32 TO 70 VDC. The SE-703 is a microprocessor-based ground-fault relay for resistance- and solidly-earthed systems. It offers sensitive ground-fault detection as low as 25 mA and can be used on systems with significant harmonic content. The SE-703 provides feeder-level protection or individual-load protection. The output contacts can be connected for use in protective tripping circuits or in alarm indication circuits. The analog output can be used with a PLC or a meter. The SE-703 is specifically designed to be Australian AS/NZS 2081 compliant.

Voltage Relay. 33 415/480V. The T3300 is intended for three phase effective voltage surveillance on generators, busbar or other distribution systems. The relay contains the functions “under voltage” and “over voltage” time delayed, and 2 individual output relays, one relay for each function. The T3300 includes a total of four internal transformers. Three of these transformers are used for measurement and one dedicated to supplying the internal electronics. The internal transformers provide optimal isolation and the best possible accuracy. The use of a dedicated transformer for supply prevents load disturbance to any of the three measurements.

VAr Load Sharer. 400/450V 5A. The T4900 is designed to control a generator operating in parallel with the grid, or a generator operating in parallel with other generators (which are also controlled by T4900 units). The T4900 will continuously measure and compare the reactive current on the generator to an external DC reference signal connected to the “parallel line” input. The T4900 will increase or decrease the voltage of the generator (through the AVR) if it finds the reactive current level to be either too low or too high. Two built-in relays provide the increase and decrease pulses for the automatic voltage regulator (AVR). The strength (width) of the pulses is proportional to the voltage deviation. The E7800 Motorised Potentiometer can be used to adapt the contact pulses to a signal suitable for most AVR’s.
