The nVent PB1 Series Pushbutton Enclosure (SKU: Z30PBABC) offers robust protection for 30.5-mm or 22.5-mm pushbuttons and switches. Constructed from 14-gauge steel with continuously welded and ground smooth seams, this enclosure meets UL 508A Listed Type 4, 12 standards and cUL Listed Type 4, 12 per CSA C22.2 No. 94. It also achieves IEC 60529 IP66 ratings. The design features captivated cover screws threading into sealed wells, a bonding provision on the cover, and a grounding stud on the body. An oil-resistant gasket ensures environmental sealing. Factory stamped 4-way pushbutton holes simplify installation. For enclosures 7.25 x 6.25 x 6.75 inches and larger, an internal detachable hinge holds the cover open during wiring. External mounting brackets are included for easy installation. The enclosure is finished with ANSI 61 gray polyester powder coating inside and out. This model is designed for applications requiring a slanted control surface, enhancing operator ergonomics.
