The nVent PBX Series Extra Deep Pushbutton Enclosure (SKU: Z1PBXBC) is a Type 12/13, IP65-rated industrial enclosure designed for 30.5mm or 22.5mm pushbuttons and switches. Measuring 4.00 x 4.00 x 4.75 inches (102 x 102 x 121 mm), this 16 or 14-gauge steel enclosure features continuously welded and ground smooth seams for durability. The extra depth accommodates additional pushbutton contact blocks, making it ideal for complex wiring configurations. Key features include captive cover screws threading into sealed wells, a grounding stud on the body, bonding provisions on the cover, and an oil-resistant gasket for environmental protection. Factory-stamped 4-way pushbutton holes support easy installation of standard components. The enclosure includes external welded-on mounting brackets for quick installation and an internal detachable hinge (for larger models) to hold the cover open during wiring. Finished in ANSI 61 gray polyester powder paint inside and out, the PBX Series meets UL 508A, cUL, NEMA/EEMAC Type 12/13, and IEC 60529 IP65 standards.
