Overview

The nVent UCP640 (SKU: UCP640) is a compact, wall-mounted enclosure constructed from durable, fiber-glass reinforced polyester. Measuring 615x415x230 mm, this enclosure provides robust protection for electrical and electronic components with an IP66 rating, safeguarding against dust ingress and high-pressure water jets. Its monoblock molded body is 3 mm thick, offering structural integrity. The UCP640 features a single, plain door with a 180° opening for easy access. For enhanced security, it includes a three-point locking system with a standard double-bit 3 mm insert and 90° movement. Constructed from self-extinguishing, halogen-free polyester, it meets EN61439-1 double insulation standards with a rated insulation voltage of Ui=1000V. The material is resistant to environmental factors, making it suitable for outdoor installations. It operates reliably between -25 °C and 70 °C continuous use, with peak tolerance up to 130 °C. The enclosure boasts an IK 08 impact resistance rating and a RAL 7035 finish. Approvals include CE and GOST, with CSA and cULus_UL Listed applicable to plain door models. Delivered with the door, mounting plate screws, and a self-adhesive rain strip, the UCP640 is designed for direct wall fixing via four integrated holes.
