How to Install the TX23 Heat Exchanger
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the TX23 heat exchanger, including mounting, wiring, and initial setup.

Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Gasket kit, Power cord
- Inspect the heat exchanger
Check for any visible damage to the heat exchanger before installation. Ensure all components are intact and functional.
- Prepare the mounting area
Determine if the unit will be surface or recess mounted. Use the provided cutout dimensions to prepare the enclosure opening accordingly.
- Install gaskets
Using the gasket kit provided, attach gaskets to the heat exchanger to ensure a proper seal.
- Mount the heat exchanger
Secure the heat exchanger to the enclosure using the mounting screws provided. Torque the screws to 25 in-lbs (2.82 Nm).
- Connect the power supply
Refer to the unit nameplate for electrical requirements. Connect the power cord to a properly grounded power supply. Avoid using an extension cord.
- Test functionality
Power on the unit and allow it to run for several minutes. Listen for excessive noise or vibration, which may indicate a problem.
