If required, connect a grounding wire to the fan housing using the green grounding screw provided, ensuring compliance with N.E.C. standards.

  4. Mount the fan

Secure the fan to the plenum using the supplied thread cutting screws, ensuring the airflow direction indicated on the fan housing is correct.

  5. Insert the fan package

Place the assembled fan package into the cutout in the enclosure, ensuring the gasket is positioned between the plenum and enclosure wall.

  6. Secure the fan package

Use the provided screws, lockwashers, and nuts to secure the fan package in place within the enclosure.

  7. Install the filter

Insert the filter (AFLTRXXUL12) with the white fabric side facing into the enclosure and the foam side facing out.

  8. Attach the grille

Snap the grille onto the fan package to complete the installation.

  9. Connect power

Connect the fan lead wires to the appropriate voltage power source, ensuring all wiring complies with local codes.

  10. Verify installation

Double-check all connections and ensure the fan operates correctly before closing the enclosure.
