How to Install the TEP6UL12 Exhaust Grille
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the TEP6UL12 exhaust grille on a vertical enclosure.

Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Gasket
- Determine the installation location
Identify the vertical side of the enclosure where the exhaust grille will be installed. Ensure that the location is free of any wires or components.
- Make cutouts and mounting holes
Using the provided template, make the appropriate cutout and mounting holes for the exhaust grille. Ensure that the cutout is at least 12 inches away from any arcing parts.
- Install the gasket
Attach the supplied gasket to the flange surface of the plenum to ensure a proper seal.
- Secure the finger guard
Using the supplied screws, lockwashers, and nuts, secure the finger guard in place as shown in the installation instructions.
- Insert the filter and snap on the grille
Place the filter inside the plenum and snap the composite grille over the plenum to complete the installation.
- Verify installation
Check that the grille is securely mounted and that there are no obstructions. Reconnect power to the enclosure and ensure proper operation.
