How to Install the T431026G152 Air Conditioner

Mounting bolts, Mounting screws, Gasket kit
- Inspect and Test Functionality
Inspect the air conditioner for any damage. Test its functionality by connecting it to a properly grounded power supply and running it for 5-10 minutes. Ensure no excessive noise or vibration is present. Refer to the nameplate for electrical requirements. If the unit was transported horizontally, allow it to remain upright for at least 5 minutes before testing.
- Prepare Enclosure
Using the cutout dimensions provided in the manual, prepare the air 'IN' and air 'OUT' openings, and the mounting bolt hole pattern on the enclosure.
- Install Gaskets
Install the provided gasket kit onto the air conditioner according to the instructions in the 'MOUNTING GASKET KIT' section of the manual.
- Mount the Air Conditioner
Mount the air conditioner onto the enclosure using the provided mounting bolts and screws. 'EZ' mount tabs can assist in holding the unit in place during mounting. Ensure the unit remains upright during operation. Start bolts by hand before tightening with a wrench or ratchet driver to avoid cross-threading.
- Route Drain Tube
Route the drain tube, ensuring it maintains a continuous downward slope without kinking or being elevated above the exit point. Failure to do so may result in overflowing of the condensate drain pan.
- Connect Power
Refer to the electrical requirements on the top of the nameplate. Connect the power cord to a properly grounded power supply. Use of an extension cord is not recommended. The electrical circuit should be fused with a slow blow or HACR circuit breaker.
- Set Temperature
Adjust the thermostat to the desired temperature. For cooling, turn clockwise for cooler temperatures and counterclockwise for warmer temperatures. The set point equals the off temperature. For units with heat, the heating thermostat set point equals the on temperature.
