Overview

The nVent SSTB153008 Stainless Steel Terminal Box (SKU: SSTB153008) provides a durable, corrosion-resistant enclosure for critical electrical and electronic components in harsh industrial environments. Constructed from AISI 304L pre-grained stainless steel (AISI 316L available on request), this terminal box delivers superior protection against moisture, dust, and physical impact. With an IP66 rating, it prevents water and dust ingress while meeting Type 4X, 12, and 13 standards for indoor/outdoor use. The enclosure features a 1mm body thickness and 1.5mm cover thickness, with folded and seam-welded construction for enhanced structural integrity. A one-piece silicone gasket ensures a reliable seal, while M8x18mm earthing studs in both body and cover provide safe grounding. Four M6x13 studs on the body enable easy mounting of bottom profiles or plates. Measuring 150x300x80mm, this box accommodates terminal connections, control devices, and other electrical components. Its brushed stainless steel finish resists corrosion and simplifies maintenance. Ideal for industrial automation, power distribution, telecommunications, marine/offshore, food processing, chemical facilities, and outdoor electrical enclosures.
