Overview

The nVent SPMS1805 Side Panels are constructed from 1.5 mm thick AISI 304 brushed stainless steel, offering robust protection for floor-standing enclosures. These panels measure 1764mm in height, 18mm in depth, and 462mm in width, and are designed for compatibility with 1800mm high by 500mm wide enclosures. Each pack includes two panels and the necessary mounting accessories, facilitating easy one-person assembly with the provided 8 screws. The integrated, one-piece extruded polyurethane gasket ensures effective sealing against environmental ingress. When combined with the nVent MCSS system, these side panels provide IP55/Type 12,13 protection. Further enhancing protection, when used with the nVent MCSS-HP system, they achieve IP66/Type 4X,12,13 protection. The 400 pre-grained stainless steel finish provides a clean aesthetic and offers excellent resistance to corrosion. These side panels are engineered to safeguard sensitive electrical components from dust, moisture, and mechanical damage, thereby ensuring system reliability and longevity. The material composition of AISI 304 stainless steel contributes to their durability and suitability for demanding environments.
