Overview

The nVent ZonEx SA Series Junction Box (SKU: SA111108) is engineered for hazardous location applications requiring increased safety (Ex e) or intrinsic safety (Ex i). Certified for Zones 1, 2, 21, and 22, it meets ATEX and IECEx standards. Constructed from low copper aluminum alloy with stainless steel bolts and screws, it offers exceptional corrosion resistance for longevity in harsh industrial environments. The screw cover design ensures easy access for installation and maintenance, while a high-temperature-resistant silicone gasket provides an IP66 rating, protecting internal components from dust and water jets. The SA111108 model supports multipolar or modular terminal blocks and can be fitted with pilot lights, push buttons, and measuring instruments. The body and cover can be drilled and threaded to customer specifications by nVent HOFFMAN to maintain certification integrity. Standard RAL 7035 epoxy coating and an internal mounting panel enhance its utility. Ideal for oil and gas, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, and mining industries.
