How to Install the SPECTRACOOL Slim Fit Air Conditioner
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the SPECTRACOOL Slim Fit Air Conditioner, ensuring proper functionality and safety.

Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Mounting gasket
- Inspect the air conditioner
Verify that the air conditioner is functioning correctly before installation. Ensure it has been upright for at least five minutes if it was previously horizontal.
- Mount the air conditioner
Using the mounting gasket kit, attach the gasket to the air conditioner. Then, secure the unit to the enclosure using the supplied grub screws, washers, and nuts, ensuring not to damage the gasket.
- Connect the power supply
Loosen the screw on the evaporator access panel, remove the panel, and route the power supply wire through the strain relief. Connect the wire to the terminal block as labeled, then reinstall the access panel and tighten the strain relief screw.
- Configure the controller
Adjust the cooling controller to the desired cabinet temperature. The factory default settings can be modified as needed.
- Test the air conditioner
After applying power, ensure the evaporator blower starts running. Set the cooling controller set point below the ambient temperature to operate the compressor and verify that the condenser air temperature rises.
