Overview

The nVent QLINE® D Series ABS Type 4X Enclosure, SKU Q754ABD, offers robust protection for electrical, automation, and control systems in demanding industrial environments. Constructed from impact-resistant ABS material, this enclosure provides excellent resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and UV exposure, ensuring long-term reliability. Its NEMA Type 4X and IEC 60529 IP66 rating guarantees superior protection against dust, water ingress, and other environmental contaminants, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, including corrosive settings. The QLINE D series features straight side walls that allow for ganging multiple enclosures, increasing flexibility. The opaque ABS cover is impact-resistant and designed for durability. Cross-point captivated cover screws, made of stainless steel, ensure secure closure and are protected by removable caps for aesthetics and tamper resistance. Mounting holes are conveniently molded directly adjacent to the cover screws. Internally, molded pads facilitate the mounting of optional panels, rails, and other components, with additional molded internal rails available for adjustable-depth panel kits. The enclosure utilizes a seamless foam-in-place gasket to maintain a watertight and dust-tight seal. The material is halogen-free, contributing to safety. The light-gray (RAL 7035) finish is consistent both inside and out. Optional panels are available in plated steel. This enclosure is a more economical, non-UL rated alternative to polycarbonate models, sharing similar physical properties and features for applications where UL certification is not a primary requirement.
