Overview

The nVent QLINE® Type 4X Extension Ring (SKU: Q4040EXTI) provides an additional 50mm (1.97 inches) of depth to QLINE® I Series enclosures, specifically designed for 400x400mm panel sizes. It is compatible with QLINE® I Series enclosures such as Q4030PI and Q6040PI, expanding space for wiring, components, or thermal management without compromising enclosure integrity. The material is halogen-free and easily workable for modifications. 94, meeting industry standards for electrical enclosures. Note: This extension ring is not compatible with quick-release latches. Installation typically requires 42mm screws (QIHK424). Applications include industrial control panels, outdoor electrical enclosures, and installations in chemical processing plants, oil & gas facilities, and food & beverage production where robust environmental protection is essential. nVent offers this accessory as part of its comprehensive QLINE® product line, known for reliability and adherence to international standards.
