The nVent QLINE® Polycarbonate Type 4X Enclosure, SKU Q303018PCIQRCC, offers robust protection for electrical and electronic components in demanding industrial settings. Constructed from high-impact, impact-resistant polycarbonate, this enclosure features straight side walls for ganging multiple units and is easily punched, drilled, filed, or sawed for customization. Its seamless foam-in-place gasket ensures a watertight and dust-tight seal, meeting IEC 60529 IP67 standards. The enclosure boasts NEMA/EEMAC Type 4, 4X, 12, 13 ratings and is cUL Listed per CSA C22.2 No. 94 (File No. E61997). The clear, impact-resistant polycarbonate cover allows for visual inspection of internal components without compromising protection. A key feature is the Quick-Release (QR) latch design, which includes polycarbonate hinges and polyester latches with a padlock provision, simplifying access for maintenance and reducing downtime. Mounting holes are molded directly adjacent to the cover screws, and removable caps protect these screws, offering both aesthetic appeal and tamper resistance. Internal pads are molded in for mounting optional panels, rails, or other components. The external dimensions are 300x300x173mm. The material is halogen-free. This enclosure is ideal for housing 30.5-mm or 22.5-mm pushbuttons and other controls in hostile environments, including outdoor and industrial applications where protection against dust, water, and corrosive agents is critical. Optional panels are available as unpainted plated steel. The enclosure material is RAL 7035 light-gray inside and out.
