Overview

The nVent QLINE® Q251815PCKE is a robust Type 4X polycarbonate enclosure designed for demanding industrial and commercial applications. Constructed from high-impact, halogen-free polycarbonate, this enclosure offers exceptional resistance to corrosion, UV radiation, and extreme temperatures, ensuring reliable performance in harsh environments. It meets NEMA/EEMAC Type 4, 4X, 12, 13 ratings and IEC 60529 IP67 standards, providing superior protection against dust, water, and ice ingress. The enclosure features a seamless foam-in-place gasket for a watertight and dust-tight seal. Its external dimensions are 250x175x149mm. The opaque screw cover is secured with durable polyamide cross-point screws, which are captivated and protected by removable caps for aesthetic appeal and tamper resistance. Mounting holes are molded directly adjacent to the cover screws, simplifying installation. Internal pads are molded into the body for mounting optional panels, rails, or other components. The polycarbonate material is easily punched, drilled, filed, or sawed, allowing for customization. Straight side walls permit ganging of multiple enclosures. This enclosure is UL 508A Listed (File No. E61997) and cUL Listed per CSA C22.2 No 94. Applications include housing 30.5-mm or 22.5-mm pushbuttons in hostile environments, industrial control panels, and automation systems. Optional panels are sold separately.
