This guide provides instructions for securing various components of PV/PS series devices by applying the correct torque to M12 and M8x16 fasteners, using specified tools. It covers the primary fastening procedures.
Estimated time: 20m
Tools needed:
Socket wrench SW19, Socket wrench SW8, Torx wrench T40, Torque wrench
Supplies needed:
M12 bolts, M8x16 bolts
- Tighten M12 Fasteners (Type A)
Identify all M12 fasteners corresponding to connection type 'A' in the diagrams. Using a suitable socket wrench (e.g., SW19) and a torque wrench, tighten these fasteners to a torque of 15-20 Nm. Ensure the connection is firm and secure.
- Tighten M8x16 Fasteners (Type B)
Locate all M8x16 fasteners corresponding to connection type 'B' in the diagrams. Using a suitable socket wrench (e.g., SW8) and a torque wrench, tighten these fasteners to a torque of 10-15 Nm. Confirm the connection is properly torqued.
- Secure Components with T40 Torx Fasteners
Locate any fasteners on the PV/PS device that require a T40 Torx wrench. Using the T40 Torx wrench, securely tighten these fasteners to ensure all components are firmly attached and stable. Avoid overtightening.
