This guide provides detailed instructions for applying the correct torque to various M12 and M8x16 fasteners during the assembly of PS series components, ensuring mechanical integrity and proper installation.
Estimated time: 30m
Tools needed:
SW19 wrench, SW8 wrench, Torque wrench
Supplies needed:
M12 fasteners, M8x16 fasteners, M12x20 fastener
- Tighten M12 Fasteners at Location A
Using an SW19 wrench and a torque wrench, tighten the four M12 fasteners at location A to a torque of 15-20 Nm. Ensure all fasteners are securely tightened within the specified range to prevent loosening during operation.
- Tighten M8x16 Fasteners at Location B
Using an SW8 wrench and a torque wrench, tighten the M8x16 fasteners at location B to a torque of 10-15 Nm. Refer to the assembly diagram for the correct quantity (4 or 8) and precise location of these fasteners.
- Tighten M12 Fasteners at Location C
Using an SW19 wrench and a torque wrench, tighten the two M12 fasteners at location C to a torque of 10-15 Nm. Verify that both fasteners are tightened to the specified value to maintain structural stability.
- Tighten M12x20 Fastener at Location D
Using an SW19 wrench and a torque wrench, tighten the single M12x20 fastener at location D to a torque of 15-20 Nm. Confirm the fastener is secure and properly torqued to complete this assembly point.
