This guide provides instructions for installing various mounting brackets within Hoffman ProLine enclosures or onto subpanels, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening.
Estimated time: 30m
Tools needed:
Wrench, Screwdriver
Supplies needed:
M6-1x16 fasteners, M8-1.25x16 fasteners, M5x20 fasteners, Various mounting brackets
- Select Appropriate Brackets and Fasteners
Refer to the provided diagrams (1-11) to identify the specific type and quantity of mounting brackets and corresponding fasteners (M6-1x16, M8-1.25x16, M5x20) required for your installation within the ProLine enclosure or on the subpanel.
- Align Upper and Lower Brackets
Position the selected upper and lower mounting brackets onto the subpanel or within the enclosure. Crucially, ensure that both the upper and lower brackets are mounted over the same square hole to maintain structural integrity and proper alignment.
- Secure Brackets to Mounting Surface
Using the appropriate wrench for M6/M8 fasteners or a screwdriver for M5 fasteners, firmly attach the brackets to the mounting surface. Install the specified number of fasteners for each bracket type and tighten them securely to prevent any movement.
