Overview

The nVent PMB6 Mobile Base (SKU: PMB6) is a precision-engineered aluminum foundation designed to add mobility to PROLINE® Modular Enclosures measuring 600x600mm or 800mm in width. Part of nVent’s PROLINE® Series, this mobile base integrates directly with modular enclosure frames to enable controlled repositioning of critical control systems without sacrificing stability. Constructed from lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum and finished in a durable gray polyester powder coat, the PMB6 supports heavy-duty applications up to 1000 lb (453.6 kg) using four non-locking casters, ensuring smooth movement across industrial floors. The base extends beyond the front and rear of 600mm-wide enclosures for enhanced stability, while 800mm-wide enclosures receive front-only extension. Top surfaces are fitted with 3mm-thick black rubber mats to protect mounted equipment during transport. The PMB6 is fully compatible with PROLINE® G2 frames and includes all necessary mounting hardware and casters. For static installations, a Mobile Base Leveling Kit (PMBLM12) is available separately to replace casters with adjustable levelers. Ideal for automated production lines, data centers, and cleanroom environments, the PMB6 delivers modular scalability and operational flexibility in demanding industrial settings.
