Overview

The nVent PF2100 (SKU: PF2100) is a 200mm high front and rear plinth designed for nVent floor-standing enclosures. Constructed from 1.5 mm mild steel panels and 2 mm corner pieces, it offers exceptional rigidity due to double returns on all panels. The Umbra Gray (RAL 7022 structured powder coating) finish provides robust corrosion resistance. This plinth facilitates unrestricted cabling in accordance with VDE 0113, creating essential space beneath the enclosure for organized cable routing and management. It includes mounting accessories for side panels (PS) or transversal profiles (PCP). For combined enclosures, transversal panels PCP are recommended for cable duct support and added rigidity. The PF2100 is ideal for industrial applications requiring reliable and compliant electrical infrastructure. The plinth consists of four corner pieces with removable front covers. For 200 mm high plinths, two rear panels are included. Side panels PS must be ordered separately to complete the plinth. When combining enclosures, transversal panels PCP are recommended for cable duct support and extra rigidity. For enclosures 1600 mm wide, use 2 x 800 mm wide plinths.   • Material: Corner pieces in 2 mm and panels in 1.5 mm mild steel.

  • Pack quantity: 1 set of 4 corner pieces including covers. Front and rear panel (2 rear panels for 200 mm high plinths) with mounting accessories. Mounting accessories for side panels PS or transversal profiles PCP.
  • Mounting requirements: Add the side panels PS for a complete plinth. When combining enclosures it is recommended to add transversal panels PCP for cable duct support and extra rigidity.
  • Benefit: the plinth allows enclosures to be fixed to the floor without the need for interior access
  • Comment: the front and rear plinth PF, must be mounted along with side panels PS; if creating an enclosure system with multiple enclosures, the side panels are required to be mounted at the beginning and end only
  • Comment: to reinforce the combined plinths, plinth combining profiles PCP/PCPK, should be used
  • Mounting requirements: add the side panels PS for a complete plinth; when combining enclosures, it is recommended to add transversal panels PCP for cable duct support and extra rigidity

M12x20 Fasteners, M8x16 Fasteners

  1. Identify Fasteners and Tools

    Before starting, identify the M12 and M8x16 fasteners required for your specific PF/PV/PS component assembly. Prepare the necessary tools: an SW19 wrench, an SW8 wrench, and a T40 Torx bit, as indicated by the component specifications.

  2. Secure Component 'A' with M12 Fasteners

    For connections designated as 'A' in the assembly diagrams, use the M12 fasteners. Tighten these fasteners to a torque of 15-20 Nm. Ensure a secure fit without overtightening to prevent damage to the components.

  3. Fasten Components 'B' or 'C' with M8x16 Fasteners
